Endometriosis has a much higher prevalence in infertile women, estimated as between 25% and 40%

Endometriosis is found almost exclusively in women of reproductive age, with diagnosis usually during a woman’s 30s. It is uncommon in the under-20s

A

age? because sd usually affect women in their 30’s.

associated symptoms? (are you having menorrhagia, abnormal vaginal discharge, is your period irregular, painful sex, discomfort) to rule

nature of pain? Sd is dull continuous diffused pain

does the pain radiate?

the severity of pain? sometimes pain can severe in SD (decreases with the onset of menstruation), if it is moderate to severe lower abdominal pain refer

the onset of pain?
sd lower abdominal cramping pain starts 5-7 days before the onset of menses
