Ten & Emtri (these are also in common cuz they are both cytosine analogs)
What if a patient had HBV, HIV, and osteoporosis.. What do you give them?
Emtricitabine (cuz Tenofovir can cause osteoporosis)
What if a patient had HBV, HIV, and was starting to have renal failure due to chronic DM2?
Emtricitabine (cuz Tenofovir has renal toxicity).. All of them are renally eliminated, but he mentioned Tenofovir as specifically being nephrotoxic
