A
  1. Decrease salivary/gastric/intestinal secretion; GI motility; cramps
  2. Increase: GI muscle tone; sphincter tone
  3. Anti-spasmodic
  4. Leads to increased contact time b/w luminal material & reabsorptive surface

A

Loperamide (Imodium): agonizes intestinal opiod receptors (enkephalins) & antagonize calmodulin
