A

Thumb sign -Enlarged epiglottis
Fever, sore throat,
Dys/odynophagia,
restlessness, drooling,
hoarseness, muffled voice
- “Hot potato voice”
- Tripod position:
trunk leaning forward,
neck hyperextended,
chin thrust forward
- Aryepiglottic folds
thickening
- Stridor : obstruction
to large airways
