Cohesion meaning?
The total field of forces which act on members to remain in the group. To stick together in united pursuit of objectives and satisfaction of member needs.

Attractiveness of group - desire to be involved based on a need for interpersonal interactions
Means control - what benefit will involvement yield
What are the dimensions of cohesion?
Individual attraction to the group (task) - how much you fit in (sports, training, mindset)
Individual attraction to the group (social) - how many friends you have
Group attractions (task) - how much you think the group is working together to reach goal
Group attractions (social) - athletes perception of the social dynamic of the group
