dorsal, all lvls
Relays pain, temp, touch
Nucleus proprious- loc, levels, function
dorsal, all lvls
relays mechanical and temp sensation to brain
Nuckeus dorsalis of clarke- loc, lvls, func
lateral horn, t1-L2
relays unconsious proprioceptive info
Intermediomedial and interomediolat nuc- loc, lvls, func
lat horn, t1-l2
Relays sensory info from viscera to brain (autonomic signals)
Sacral parasympathetic nucelus- loc, lvls, func
Lat horn, S2-4
Parasympathetic pre ganglionic axon buncles
Medial motor nuc- loc, lvls, func
Ventral horn, all lvls
Supplies axial muscles
Lat motor nuc- loc, lvls, func (dorsal and ventral func)
Ventral horn, c5-t1, L2-S3
Supplies mm of upper and lower limbs
dorsal- flexor mm
ventral- ext mm
Spinal accessory nuc- loc, lvls, func
ventral C1-5 (lat motor nuc replaces this after)
supplies scm and traps
Phrenic nucleus- loc, lvls, func
Ventral, c3-5 supplies mm of diaphram
Onufs nuc- loc, lvls, func
Ventral, s2-4
supply muscles of perineum (urine/feces)
Lamina 1- corresponding nuc and flow+ function
(nucleus dorsomarginalis)
sends pain/temp/touch (bad) to contralat lateral spinothalamic tract
Lamina 2- corresponding nuc and Flow+ function
(substantia gelantonosa)
- transmits slow pain conduction to lamina 3/4
- modulates pain before sending info
Lamina 3/4- corresponding nuc and Flow+ func
(Nucleus proprius)
Mediates pain/temp/touch from lamina 2
contributes to contralat lat spinothalmic tract (pain/temp) and ant spinothalamic tract (crude touch)
Lamina 5/6- corresponding nuc and flow + func
(nucleus proprius)
Proprioceptive signals from jnts (medial part recieves direct info while lat gets collaterals to modulate)
Sends info to contralat lateral spinothalamic tract and ant spinothalamic tract
