meningitis, meningococcemia
This Gram (-) cocci is Maltose negative. It ferments glucose, grows on a thayer-martin agar, and is fastidious.
Neisseria ghonorrhae
What disease does Neisseria ghonorrhae cause?
PID, urethritis, arthritis in sexually active, neonatal conjunctivitis
This Gram (-) cocci is maltose negative and does not ferment glucose.
Moraxella catarrhalis
