A

Increased interconnectedness of society so what happens in one locality is shaped by sistant event or another
-Caused by the spread of new information and media technologies (internet), cheep air travel, mass tourism, mass migration, increased number of multinational business

A

country’s now learn from each others as different country’s schools system is ranked
Germany used class differences, pisa gave tips to germany and they’ve now risen from below average to above average

How has pisa influenced the UK education system?

A

Former education secretary Michael Gove called for longer school days and less holidays- this wouldnt work in the UK as we have different cultures than ares like china
-Finland top performing mation by influencing free schools- Also wouldn’t work in the UK as finland’s more social democratic where as we are more neoliberalism

A

Charter schools in america have influenced the development of academy’s in the UK
Charter schools that are publically funded by operation of independent groups, also have more flexibility to set the cirriculum+ school hours + traditional state schools and finally more lee way in recruiting teachers

A

-Can be bad for country’s as war
-pandemic
-China has a clear strategy to seek acquired critical intellectual property’s, states like china dont view things collaboratively
