Timolol dosing
(0.05%) instill one gtt into affected eyes BD
Side effects of Timolol
burning sensation of eyes
stinging of eyes
contraindication of timolol
- bradycardia
- heart block
- asthma
- obstructive airway disease
- precaution is diabetes and hyperthyroidism
counselling points for timolol
- do not stop applying
- may cause local irritation that may go away after some time
dosing for betaxolol
(0.25%) instill 1 gtt on affected eye BD
side effects of betaxolol
stinging
local discomfort upon application
containdication of betaxolol
