  • Do not crush tablets; can take with food or milk to decrease GI upset
  • Inform patient that urine will be bright orange/red
  • Monitor for signs of hepatoxicity: dark urine, clay-colored stools, jaundice, itching, abdominal pain, fever, diarrhea
  • May interfere with urine glucose tests
  • OTC, Rx; Preg Cat B
