Place reverser into neutral (Siemens and X’Trap) or OFF (Comeng), and make enquiries into delay

- Return to cab

- Inform Train Controller of issue (if CAN not previously issued)

- Do not release doors
- Make PA announcement requesting passengers stay clear of doors
- Confirm no one is attempting to board
- Sound long whistle
