If sx <2x/wk = lifestyle, H2antagonists, antacids

If sx 2x or>/wk = lifestyle etc + trial 14/7 of PPI’s, reassess

1/ Take 30–60 minutes before a meal. (either breakfast or before evening meal)
Therapy duration 4-6 weeks

2/ decrease dose
20mg to 10mg or 20mg on alternate days

well controlled symptoms, use PPI’s PRN

Trial cessation of PPI’s. use antacids and H2Antagonists
