A
•Associated with a mobile gallbladder with a long suspensory mesentery

Symptoms of gallbladder torsion
A
•Acute cholecyititis

Sonographic findings of gallbladder torsion
A
- Gallbladder becomes massively inflamed and distended
- Cystic artery and cystic duct may also become twisted
- If twisted more than 180 degrees, the risk of gangrene may develop
- Surgical intervention is used to treat torsion
