1). Abdominal cavity:
A). Space inferior from diaphragm, superior from urinary bladder.
B). Defined by a single serous membrane
C). Peritoneal sac: houses the upper digestive organs.

2). Pelvic Cavity:
A). Space inferior to peritoneum, within the bony pelvis.
B). Houses lower intestine, bladder, and reproductive organs.
