How do does birth rate affect food security
It’s increasing and as population grows ,the amount of food available will have to increase to feed the whole population
Why is changing taste affecting food security
People expect to eat ranges of different food throughout year and many foods can’t be grown in one country alone
Meaning we have to import a large amount of food from other countries threatening their food security
Why are pest pathogens affecting our food security
Pest eat food crops .
Pathogens cause infectious diseases and both of these reduce the amount of food crops available to eat
How do Environmental changes affect food security
One effect of global warming in unpredictable weather . If rainfall patterns change not enough crops grow to feed population leading to famine
How do resources affect food security
Many rely on pesticide and fertiliser to increase crop fields
As population increases the resource price may increase and be more than people can afford
How do conflicts threaten food. Security
During periods of war farming is disrupted and importing food may not be possible
