  • uterus expands
  • foetus grows to 18cm long and weighs 100 g
  • fingerprints appear
  • mother may feel foetal movement

  • foetus grows to 25cm long and weighs 300g

- kicking and turning can be clearly felt by mother

  • Brain shows developed areas
  • testes descend in scrotum in males
