  1. Reduce pitch, full power, wings level & coordinated
  2. Flaps 25 establish climb pitch
  3. Flaps 10 accelerating through 55 kts
  4. Flaps 0 accelerating through 60 kts
  5. Stabilize climbout at Vy 76 kts
  6. Level off as briefed

Power off stall

A
  1. Clearing turns @ 1,500 AGL/ 3,000 MSL
  2. Reduce power 1,800 rpm, fuel fullest, pump on, carb heat on
  3. Extend full flaps below (below 110 kts for 10 flaps, below 85 kts for 20 of & 40 degrees of flaps)
  4. Establish 1,500rpm/70 kts descent
  5. Power to idle
  6. Back pressure to maintain altitude
  7. Announce imminent stall @ stall warning
  8. Announce stall when the stall occurs

  3. Roll into a 45 degree bank turn
  4. Back pressure & power to maintain altitude and airspeed
  5. Sacn outside, VASI, Altimeter, and Airspeed
  6. Lead rollout heading by 20 degrees
  7. Reduce pitch and power to maintain altitude

A
  1. Clearing turns, ER landing spot 600-1,000/1,500
  2. Enter downwind stabilizing @ 90 kts
  3. When under wing roll into left turn (steepest)
  4. Past 90 degrees reduce bank to track a synm
  5. Close to 180 degree point level and parallel
  6. Repeat 1-4 in a right turn
    Alt +/- 100 A/S +/- 10

  2. Hold breaks
  3. Apply full power
  4. Release breaks
  5. Call out Engine instruments cleared (rpm & oil pressure)
  6. Call out airspeed alive
  7. Accelerate to Vr 48 kts & pitch airborne @51
  8. Climb at Vx 56 kts until obstacle is cleared
  9. Call obstacle cleared pitch Vy & retract flaps above 62 kts
  10. Keep climb @ Vy 74 kts

  1. Select a touchdown point
  2. Abeam TDZ power 1,600 rpm flaps 10 below 110 kts
  3. Pitch for 80 kts
  4. TDZ @ 45 degrees off shoulder turn base
  5. Flaps 20 degrees pitch 70 kts
  6. Turn Final flaps 30 degrees pitch 61 kts
  7. Smoothly reduce power to land at or beyond selected point within 200 feet of selected point
  8. Flaps 0, max breaking, full back pressure

  1. Taxi onto runway with yolk in full aft position
  2. No breaks, keep rolling & smoothly apply full power
  3. Call out Engine Checked
  4. Reduce back pressure to allow nose wheel 2 inches off the ground
  5. Call out airspeed alive
  6. When airborne lower nose to stay in ground effect
  7. No obstacle accelerate 56 kts pitch for Vy, retract flaps above 62 kts climb Vy 74 kts
  8. Obstacle accelerate and climb Vx 56 till cleared than Vy
  9. Call out obstacle cleared pitch for Vy, retract flaps above 62 kts, continue climb at Vy 74 kts

Slow Flight

A
  1. Clearing turns at or above 1,500 AGL / 3,000 MSL, Fuel fullest, pump on
  2. Power 1,500 RPM flaps 10 degrees below 110 kts
  3. Increase pitch to maintain altitude as airspeed decreases - TRIM
  4. Full flaps in white arc
  5. @ 50 kts increase power to maintain level flight (2,000 rpm about)
  6. Maintain coordinated flight (right rudder at low speed high rpm)
  7. Perform Straight & level & 20 degree or less turns at alt.
  8. Power for alt. pitch for speed

  2. Flaps 10 degree accelerating through 55 kts - TRIM
  3. Flaps 0 degree accelerating through 60 kts - TRIM
  4. Accelerate to normal cruise as specified and reduce power as necessary
