Mental representations
* Use of tools
* Imitation
* Memory
what do we want to see developmentally in the social domain

develop schema - belief systems or frameworks about others and the world which help guide us.
what are some things we want to see in the behavioural domain
imitation to learn behaviours or moddling. model as the reactions of people around solidifies the behaviour. reactions can be positive/ negative reinforcement or punishment.
have to look at their behaviours in an age based context, are their actions appropriate for their age
