What is the difference between a fire fireman’s lift and a firefighter’s lift?

A

A fireman’s lift has a control switch at the entrance level to allow firefighters to control the car.
A firefighter’s lift has additional safety measures such as an escape hatch, water protection, a comms system between fire service access level and car. They must also be able to service every floor.
They must also reach the furthest floor from the fire service access in 60 seconds
