Heat activated wax plug connected to extinguisher bottle in the waste container
Halon is released when plug melts at 77 degrees C
What are the indications of lavatory smoke?
Red alarm light and horn in the galley, and an EICAS warning message
How is the pressure checked on a waste container fire extinguishing bottle?
Pressure is read directly on the bottle
How many smoke detectors are installed in the baggage compartment?
Two

Two- one high rate discharge, and one metering discharge
How long does the metering discharge baggage extinguisher last?
