What does the Color Board do and how do you get to it?
The Color Board allows you to adjust color precisely for video clips. You can get to it through the menu bar (Window>GoTo>Color Bar), Command 6 or Inspector>Color>Correction
What is a luma scale?
Lima represents the brightness of an image, the “black and white” or achromatic portion of the image. Lima is paired with Chroma to create a video image.
What is a recommended color correction workflow?
- Visually check the photo for the following: whites, blacks, brightness/contrast, color cast, saturation.
- Inspector>Correction One>Exposure>open Video Scopes>hide Browser>luma Waveform set to 0-100
- Color controls>RGB Parade Waveform> balance red, green and blue
- Saturation>Vector Scope>flesh tones (reds, mid range button)
How do you add additional color corrections!

Can you manually adjust a built in color correction look?
No, but you can use presets from the color correction board then manually adjust from there. You can then save your own presets as a color template.
