A triangular shaped gland that produces cortisol
Adrenal gland
Produces hormones that generally keeps the body in homeostasis
Hypothalamus
Functions both as an exocrine and endocrine gland; produces insulin
Pancreas
Produces hormones such as estrogen, progesterone, and androgens
Ovaries
Is the male reproductive organ that produces testosterone
Testicles
A gland that releases hormones through ducts onto body surfaces
Exocrine gland
A ductless gland that secretes hormones directly into the bloodstream
