failure causes delay, missed deadlines, increased costs and loss of sales
commanding
managers give and direct instructions
clear instructions will help employees complete tasks efficiently which increases customer satisfaction
co-ordinating
staff most suitable for task allocated that task by manager
if wrong staff delegated task, problems for customers and other staff could occur
the business may not run smoothly.

monitoring and evaluating progress towards the firms aims
if targets are not met, managers need to take corrective action to ensure waste and time lost is minimal
