Faith Flashcards
Hebrews 11:1
Hebrews 11:1 NIV
[1] Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
Hebreos 11:1 RV60
Hebrews 11:6
Hebrews 11:6 NIV
[6] And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Hebreos 11:6 RV60
Mark 11:24
Pray in faith
Mark 11:24 NIV
[24] Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Marcos 11:24 RV60
James 1:6-7
James 1:6-7 NIV
[6] But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. [7] That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.
Santiago 1:6-7 RV60
Romans 3:25-28
Justification by faith in Jesus
Romans 3:25-26 NIV
[25] God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— [26] he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus. [27] Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. Because of what law? The law that requires works? No, because of the law that requires faith. [28] For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.
Romanos 3:25-28 RV60
Romans 10:17
Romans 10:13,17 NIV
[13] for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” [17] Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.
Romanos 10:17 RV60
[17] Así que la fe es por el oír, y el oír, por la palabra de Dios.
Mathew 21:18-22
Matthew 21:18-22 NKJV
[18] Now in the morning, as He returned to the city, He was hungry. [19] And seeing a fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it but leaves, and said to it, “Let no fruit grow on you ever again.” Immediately the fig tree withered away. [20] And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, “How did the fig tree wither away so soon?” [21] So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done. [22] And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”
Mateo 21:18-22 RV60
Romans 1:17
Romans 1:17 NKJV
[17] For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”
Romanos 1:17 RV60
Romans 15:13
Romans 15:13 AMPC
[13] May the God of your hope so fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound and be overflowing (bubbling over) with hope.
Romanos 15:13 RV60
James 2:17
James 2:17 NIV
[17] In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
Santiago 2:17 RV60
James 1:2-4
Testing of faith produced perseverance
James 1:2-4 NIV
[2] Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, [3] because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. [4] Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
Santiago 1:2-4 RV60
Hebrews 4:2
Hebrews 4:2 NIV
[2] For we also have had the good news proclaimed to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because they did not share the faith of those who obeyed.
Hebreos 4:2 RV60
