St Neots had images put back when council said images be restored - when Somerset retuned from Scot he finished the job

Nov 1547 Bishop Barlow preached against idolatry

Ludlow sold images into private custody 1548 - dissension in Farnham

Bainton on hid images later set up in Mary’s reign

Oxford and Southampton unofficial iconoclasm

St Paul’s removes at night to avoid trouble, Morebath priests payed 3s to have removed

Bishop Day defended Altars, Bishop Ferrar had them restored to quell discontent (in Carmarthen)

Day refused to use normal table and so sent to Fleet Prison
