(F) Evaluation Flashcards
1
Q
Top three tips for making the fieldwork better and why?
A
1) Go back at different times of year/day to collect photos in different conditions, and to ask different groups of people
This will provide a more reliable set of data with better averages
2) Ask more people
We have a very small data set. Asking more people will provide more accurate representation of the population.
3) Collect data not based on opinions (e.g. quantative data)
Our data was all opinion based which means it is possibly biased.
Non opinion based data is non-biased and more accurate.
2
Q
5 problems with the fieldwork?
A
- only asked 30 people for questionnaire
- visited once
- visited in middle of day in middle of week
- opinion based data
- crowdsourcing brings up unrelated images
3
Q
How did it influence our conclusions?
A
- biased towards our opinion/opinion of those 30 people
- represents one condition, not definitive
- less data to use in conclusions
