Located in the ventral part of the periaqueductal gray of the midbrain at the level of superior colliculus
PTOSIS (sagging of the upper eyelid)
MYDRIASIS (dilated pupil)
OCULOMOTOR MUSCLES AND NERVE
Located at the ventral border of the periaqueductal gray of the midbrain at the level of inferior colliculus
Slight extorsiom or outward rotation of the superior part of the eye
Compensated by tilting of the head
TROCHLEAR NUCLEUS AND NERVE
Located beneath the facial colliculus in the floor of the 4th ventricle in the caudal pons
MEDIAL DEVIATION or ESTROPIA and PARALYSIS OF ABDUCTION OF THE IPSILATERAL EYE
ABDUCENT NUCLEUS AND NERVE
Extra-ocular muscles
Superior rectus Inferior rectus Medial rectus Lareral rectus Superior oblique Inferior oblique
