- Decreased sensation
What is a disc herniation?
-The nuclear matter had made it outside of the fibers of the anuallus
What are Makenzie exercises? what does it do for a herniated disc
Back extension exercises
-It pushes the nuclear material back into the disc
What causes a pinched nerve?
- Tumors
- Bone spurs
- Trauma
- Compression fractures
what is a laminectomy?
To cut the lamina and remove the bone spurs from the verterbre
What is the recovery time of a laminecotmy?

- Head turned one way
- Getting hit from behind
What does the treatment look like for whiplash in the acute phases?
- Possible collars

- Light ROM
What is scheuermans disease?
Hyper kyphosis of the spine in a child
What is the cause of scheuemans disease?
The verterbral body did not develop properly
