How do you get a caseload when you are a new SLP in a school or hospital?
Schools: inherit a caseload, then dismiss and add clients with time
Hospitals: may inherit some ongoing clients and take on daily tasks like swallowing evals.
How do you get a caseload if you are a new CFY in a clinic?
You may start out with no clients and then:
- add new clients as they are referred
- add clients as you complete assessments and the client qualifies.

By removing the competition.
