A way of attracting tourists to a destination. activities lasting from half a day to a year. one time or reoccurring events.

Special events; festivals, fairs, circuses, hallmark events, fundraising events, civic events, spectator sporting events, trade shows. Meetings; convention, conferences, summits.

A
one time or frequent event. used to celebrate natural events/occurrences. may be linked to attractions, or attractions may run events.
