negatives of other types of consent

A

presumptive -although the people asked may be similar, they are not the same as the participants and so may have views about what is acceptable in psychological research that do not reflect those of the participants.

prior general -although they already consented they may feel differently one the study takes place

retrospective- may feel deceived that they were not asked for permission at the stat of the study
