Engine Flashcards

1
Q

How does fuel get from the fuel tanks to the engine

A

low pressure pump - returns to fuel tank as motive flow
high pressure pump - flows through fuel/oil heat exchanger to fuel filter then Fuel Metering Unit (FMU) then through high pressure pump before returning to FMU
