Chronic hypersecretion of growth hormone causes enlargement of bones of head and extremities
What is diabetes insipidus?
Hyposecretion of antidiuretic hormone symptoms include polyuria and polydipsia
What is dwarfism?
Hyposecretion of growth hormone in children; causes short stature
What is cushing’s syndrome?
Excessive cortisol-like medication such as prednisone or a tumor that either produces, or results in the production of excessive cortisol by the adrenal glands
