Clump-forming perennial.
Spreads via underground stolons - easily spread by cultivation.
Produces flower heads, then seeds, furthering spread.
Grows among cultivated plants competing for water and nutrients and reducing crop yields in vegetable beds.
Found in established flower beds, freshly dug soil, paving cracks, lawns and lawn edging.
