E190 - Hydraulic Flashcards
What happens if you press the ENG PUMP SHUTOFF switch ?
The hydraulics SOV is closed.
What does it mean if the hydraulic fuel quantity and scale is cyan ?
It requires refilling.
Are flight-critical functional impaired in case of loss of two hydraulic systems ?
No.
Hydraulic system 1 supplies the following systems:
- rudder (upper)- elevator (LH outboard)- MFS (#3 and #4)- GS (#2)- outboard braking
- emergency / parking brake- thrust reverser #1
The HYD HI TEMP msg is shown for all hydraulic systems when temperature exceeds:The NNC will direct you to turn off:
100°C.ACMP 1B OR ACMP 2B OR ACMP 3A.
If the hydraulic fluid temperature exceeds125°C, what will happen automatically for each hydraulic system ?
System 1 & 2: SOV closed (EDP isolated).System 3: shutdown both hydraulic pumps.
The HYD OVERHEAT msg is shown for all hydraulic systems when temperature exceeds:TheNNCwill direct you to:
145°C.shutdown both pumps for the affected system.
The hydraulic ACMP’s are powered by which bus:
ACMP 1B - AC BUS 2ACMP 2B - AC BUS 1ACMP 3A - AC ESS BUSACMP 3B - AC BUS 2
ACMP 1B or ACMP 2B is activated automatically in-flight when:
- Flaps extended- EDP (or engine) failure- 60 sec during landing operations:
ACMP 1B or ACMP 2B is activated automatically during T/O :
For 60 sec(TO thrust or GS > 50 kts).
ACMP 2B (only) is activated automatically for ground operations:
- Eng 1 running and PB released, or- Eng 1 starting, if PB was applied the last 6min
What will the FADEC do with the EDP in case of an engine flame-out ?
It will depressurize the EDP, in order to facilitate a windmill start.
Hydraulic fluid is filtered two times:
- In the filter manifold- In the return line.
Hydraulic fluid is cooled:
In a heat exchanger in the fluid return line.
Hydraulic system 2 supplies the following systems:
- aileron (inboard)- elevator (inboard)- MFS (#5)- GS (#1)- inboard braking
- emergency / parking brake- landing gear
- nose wheel steering
- thrust reverser #2
