Yes, one unit with two masks.

How many drain valves are there ?
Two, one forward and one aft.
How is the potable water system pressurized ?
By bleed air from the engines or APU.
How can the rudder pedals be adjusted ?
By a switch that controls electric actuators.
How long should you hold a knob that has a momentary position ?
At least two seconds.
Which displays can be reverted ?
DU 2 and DU 4.
What happens when you push in the EICAS FULL button (control pedestal) ?
EICAS full information is presented, de-cluttering is disabled.
If the cockpit lights dim pot is at OFF position, are the indications on that panel still illuminated ?
Yes, they remain full bright.
If you press the ANNUNCIATORS TEST button (overhead panel), do the fire switches and handles also illuminate ?
No. Only the striped bars and captions on all panels.
If the EMERGENCY LT switch is in AUTO, when do the lights illuminate ?
If DC busses lose electrical power or if airplane electrical power is turned off.
When does the fasten seat belts AND the no smoking-sign come on automatically ?
If the passenger mask doors are commanded open.
What is the function of the GALLEY master switch (in the galleys) ?
Turns off all galleys.
Is it possible to use the PILOT channel during an electrical emergency configuration (RAT deployed) ?
No. The call will be annunciated but the channel will be inop. Use the EMER PILOT button.
Does the nose gear taxi light stays illuminated after retraction ?
No. It automatically extinguishes if the nose gear is not in the locked down position.
What is the function of the INHIB pushbutton ?
Inhibits the EMERG ENTRY command for 500sec (8min). Has to be pressed within 30sec to avoid emergency entry.
How long does the EMERG ENTRY pushbutton needs to be pressed ?
At least 3 seconds.
Automatic reversion: what happens when the EICAS display fails ?
EICAS is displayed on DU 2 AND DU 4.
Automatic reversion: what happens when the EICAS and both PFD’s fail ?
PFD is displayed on DU 2,EICAS is displayed on DU 4.
The logic of reversion is PFD - EICAS - MFD.
When does de-cluttering of the EICAS occurs ?
30 sec after gear AND flaps are up,IF all parameters are normal.
It re-appears again when gear or flaps are extended OR when a cautionary condition is detected of on one of the de-cluttered indications.
What happens with the cursor if the CCD is not operated for more than 20s, provided that there are no menu’s or panels opened ?
It goes to a default position.
Which bus powers the AC converter that powers the PC power outlets ?
AC BUS 2.
What does a red LED at the cockpit PC power outlet mean ?
A fault is detected, ORthe over-temperature limit is exceeded.
How are the PC power outlets protected ?When do they automatically shut off ?
The system gives full protection against short circuit, temperature, over-voltage,… If necessary it disables the power outlets.They automatically shut off in case of cabin decompression. Pressing the PC power control switch resets the system.
What can you do if one of the red/green navigation lights fail ?
Each navigation light assembly is composed of two lamps. The second lamp can be switched on by maintenance personnel.
How many emergency lights can be found on the exterior of the airplane ?
Three route lights at each side. They are activated through the EMER LT switch.
Courtesy and stair lights consist of:
Main and service door light, stairway lights and cockpit step light.
What does the sterile light mean ?Which colour does it have ?
Entry in the cockpit is not allowed.The colour is amber.
What are the indications for smoke in the lavatory ?
Cockpit: Warning + LAV SMOKE messageCabin: Flashing orange, and lavatory smoke alarm.
What are the indications fora call from the lavatory ?
Orange and a single hi tone.
What are the indications fora normal passenger call ?
Blue and a single hi tone.
What are the indications for a normal call from the cockpit ?
Flashing green and a single hi/lo tone.
What are the indications foran emergency call from the cockpit ?
Flashing red and 3x hi/lo tone.
What are the indications fora sterile cockpit ?
Amber (yellow) and single hi tone.
How is the internal emergency lighting powered ? How long does it last ?
It is powered by 6 units (ELPU’s) with internal batteries connected to DC BUS 1. They last for approximately 10 min.
How long do the photoluminescent light strips illuminate ?
7 hrs, after a 15 min exposure (in bright mode)
How many lights are installed in the cargo compartments ?
FWD: 6 lights + 1 loading lightAFT: 5 lights + 1 loading light
What is the wind limit for the doors and cargo doors ?
Doors:65 kts in open and locked position.40 kts for positions in-between.
Cargo doors:60 kts in open and locked position.
What is the emergency assisting system ?
It wil FULLY open a door automatically after lifting up the main internal handle.
How is water from the basins and galleys drained ?
Through the heated fwd and aft drain masts.
How long does water dumping take ?
It can take up to 10 min.
When is water dumping interrupted ?
- If you press the pushbutton again- If the landing gear is lowered- Under any faulty drain mast heater condition
What happens if the waste tank is full ?
The tank full indication illuminates and the toilets are disabled.
Is the water and waste system heated ?
Yes, in order to prevent ice accumulation on the drain masts and fill/drain nipples.
Which bus powers the door electromechanical latch ?
What happens in case of electrical failure ?
DC BUS 2.In this case the door latch will stay in it’s previous setting. Manual override is available at the door.
What is the alarm cycle during an emergency entry ?
4s alarm - 9s off (three times). After 30sec the door unlocks and a green light is shown at the door unless the INHIB function is used in the cockpit.
What happens when the INHIB function fails ?
The inhibit button on the cockpit door can be used to lock the manual override button, thus preventing emergency entry.
What is the function of the LOCK pushbutton ?
- Controls the cockpit door supply- (De-)activates the EML door latch- Deactivates the inhibition control- Resets the emergency command- Resets the green led
What does a fwd/aft lavatory FAULT indication on the attendant control panel mean ?
A fault has been detected. Some FAULT indications can be cleared by repeated toilet flush cycles !
What does a water system FAULT indication on the attendant control panel mean ?
- A fault in either drain valves is detected- In-flight drainage is not available due to a fault in the valve or the heater- Water level indication is not available
Which are the indications for the:
- Main handle
- Vent flap lever
- Arming lever
- Main handle : green/no LATCH indication
- Vent flap lever : green/no LOCK indications
- Arming lever : red escape slide and girt bar indications
