A

calcium channel blocker, anti HxTx, anti dys Indi: SVT/PSVT refractory to adenosine, AFIB/AFLUT, HyTx, Angina
Contra-severe CHF, Sinus sick syndrome, 2 & #rd Heart blocks, BP<90
Dose- 2-5mg IV/IO prn 5-10mg 15min max 30mg Infant: .1-.2mg/kg max 2mg Ped-.1-.3mg/kg max 5mg

Methylprednisolone - steroid given to patients with asthma, allergic reactions. can also give prednisone

A

Class: Analgesic, Antipyretic, NSAID, Platelet Aggregate Inhibitor
Indi:Suspected MI, Throbolytic stroke, AFIB/AFLU
Contra:Active gestational bleeding, asthma w/nasal polyps(anaphylaxis is common) 162-325mg PO
not for kids
