- Elderly Frail
- Parkinson’s disease: May worsen parkinson related symtpoms
- Lewy Body dementia: May experience increased agitation
- QT prolongation has been reported rarely: ECG monitoring post sedation

What are some adverse effects of Droperidol
A
CNS: Oversedation, Dizziness
CVS: Hypotension, Tachycardia, QT prolongation
Extrapyramidal Symtpoms

What are 2 significant interactions of Droperidol?
A
- Sedative Medications/Alcohol
- Co-administration with ondansetron or prochlorperazine increases risk of QT prolongation
