Built irrigation systems and waterways, extensive city-and-temple complexes, worshipped Hindu gods
Achievements/Things to Note abt Srivijaya
- Taxed trade that travelled through their waters, since it controlled the Straight of Malacca and water around islands
- Their capital was at Palembang in Sumantra, which became a Buddhist learning center
- Controlled international seatrade
Achievements/Things to Note abt Dai Viet
-vietnam women had more freedom and influence than the chinese ones
-capital hanoi at red river delta “extensive city-and-temple complexes.”
-replaced local lords with administrative officials trained in civil service
-fought many wars with relavant pepole like Khmer and Champa
- The Tran Dynasty was strong, driving out the Mongols during their golden ages having occupied china
- the constant wars led to their eventual collapse where China was able to finally conquer them
