in beaker put detergent and salt with a little water
put fruit in beaker and mix with solution
detergent breaks cell membrane and salt make DNA stick together
filter mixture thro coffeee filter paper into test tube get insoluble bits out
gently add ice cold ethanol to test tube
appear as stringy white precipitate
