A centrally mediated reflex expulsion of food from the stomach and duodenum
Vomiting

Hematochezia
-Coagulopathies, focal bleeding lesions in distal part of colon, rectum, perineal region
Finding of a coal tar black feces
Melena
Ineffectual or painful straining at urination or defecation (usually caused by large bowel disease particularly colitis)
Tenesmus
Painful or difficult elimination of feces from the rectum (recto-anal disorders)
Dyschezia
Infrequent, incomplete, or difficult defecation with passage of hard or dry feces
Constipation
Intractable constipation caused by prolonged retention of hard, dry feces; defecation is impossible in the obstipated patients.
Obstipation
is a pathologic condition of hypomotility and dilation of the large intestine that results in constipation and obstipation
