  1. Predom epidermal component/ indolent
  • Verroucous: sessile (flat variety) or pedunculated (warty variety)
  • Ocult: almost-circular alopecia with gray, scaly surface
  1. Predom dermal component/ invasive
    * Nodular/fibroblastic: dermal or subcut mass that can ulcerate –> locally invasive –> can form regional metastasis
  2. Mixed: transition
