What is the treatment for lichen planus?
Potent topical steroids
What is the management for fungal nails?
If asymptomatic do not need treating.
If one nail: topical amorolfine
If >2 nails confirmed with clippings: oral terbinafine
What is the difference between bullous pemphigoid, pemphigus vulgaris, and pemphigoid?
Pemphigoid vulgariS is superficial, flaccid blisters which rupture easily, affects mucosa
Pemphigoid avoids the mucosa, is tense blisters which are deport than in vulgaris
Bullous pemphigoid is deeper, tense blisters
What is the first line treatment recommended for plaque psoriasis?
Topical steroid + vitamin D analogue for 4 weeks (apply separately, one in AM and one in EVE)
(Scalp, face and flexures are more prone to steroid atrophy so should be used for max 2weeks per month)
