How can human trafficking impacting family life?
-Causes emotional strain
-Separation of family
-Family members are unsure as cant be contacted
-Children with nanny may cause emotional relationship
Globalisation and birth + fertility?
BR increasing due to difficult and religious values as migrant women likely to have larger family
-Female migration younger therefore more likely to start a family during this time
Globalisation and family diversity?
-More diversity due to different cultures: south asia-extended, nuclear, less diversity, young marriage
Caribbean- matriarchal, less marriage, fictive kin

Elderly south asians are less sure today that they will be cared for by their children

Claim care work, domestic work and sex work in UK and USA is increasingly done by women in poorer countries
-Due to more service sector jobs employing women
-Western women are in work force so don’t have time for domestic work
