Q

Horner’s syndrome - cause? symptoms?

A

Severance of sympathtic trunk
Symptoms:
- pupillary constriction (paralysis of dilator pupillae muscle)
- ptosis (lowering upper eyelid due to paralysis of levator palpebrae superioris
- sinking eye (paralysis of orbitalis)
- vasodilation and absent sweating (absent supply to sweat glands)
