  • GIT –> hypersalivation, D+, abdominal spasms
  • Respiratory –> bronchoconstriction, pulmonary oedema, dyspnoea
  • Heart –> bradycardia
  • Eye –> miosis (excessive constriction of pupil)

  • depression & anorexia
  • internal bleeding –> leads to blood in vomit, faeces & urine
  • bleeding from natural body openings
  • pale mucous membrane (anaemia)
  • weak, fast pulse
  • respiratory difficulty, asthma, general exhaustion
  • haematomas
  • collapse & death (5-7 days after poisoning)
