switch procedure

patch is cut out around the Cor arteries
- put into vessel stump on the left side
- outlook is good once procedure is performed
Fallot’s Tetralogy
- pulmonary valve stenosis
- VSD
- overriding aorta
- right ventricular hypertrophy (right to left shunt over the VSD)

boot shaped heart
- lifting of apex due to RVHypertrophy
correction of Fallot’s Tetralogy happens about?
6 months - 5kg body weight
Fallot’s Tetralogy - palliative measures? / management
shunt can be created to increase BF through lungs - black-taussig shunt
