16
Q

What is an early deceleration?

A

Gradual dips + recovery in response to contraction

17
Q

What is a late deceleration?

A

Dips that start after contraction starts

18
Q

What is a variable deceleration?

A

Deceleration unrelated to contractions

19
Q

What is a prolonged deceleration?

A

Lasts 2-10 mins

20
Q

How can CTGs be described?

A

Normal

Suspicious = single non-reassuring factor

Pathological = >/=2 non-reassuring factor OR 1 abnormal

Need for urgent intervention = acute bradycardia or prolonged deceleration
