Define severe pancreatitis
Acute (usually necrotizing) pancreatitis w/ >48 hrs of injury in at least one other organ system
Common types of extrapancreatic injury in severe pancreatitis (name 3)
ARDS, AKI, shock
Volume and rate of fluids for pancreatitis
Bolus (e.g. 1.5 L) and high drip rate (e.g. 250 mL/hr x 24-48 hrs May improve mortality, but evidence is poor.
Pressor for severe pancreatitis (If needed)
