What the actual values and beliefs are of people within the business are. The benefits of positive corporate culture is reduced staff turnover and improved productivity.

The fundamental beliefs the business values the most and wont change even when the business changes. Provides direction.
Define rituals and celebrations
The events that happen on a regular basis within the business.
Eg- friday night drinks
Define communication
How management communicates with staff as well as how employees communicate with each other.
Good communication causes less mistakes
Define heros
The people within the business that employees look up to. This is due to the way they demonstrate the values of the business.
Define physical environment
The place in which employees work. Business that value team work are more likely to have a more open workplace.

This can be done in the interview process (questions)

Business’s should ensure that core values and beliefs are are implemented into the training programs.
Benefits of rewards and recognition?
Providing employees with rewards who demonstrate correct behaviors. This will increase the likely hood of employees continuing these behaviors and may influence others.
